The holiday season is upon us, Thanksgiving is around the corner, Black Friday and by the time we will turn our head Christmas and New Year's Eve will be right there! With miss Rona still riding the world, holiday celebrations will be very different this year but one thing that will never change is the endless cocktails and drinks we will be enjoying no matter what.
What is your favorite cocktail or drink you like to make or get during the holiday season? Well for me personally, I have several ones (I like to try on different types of cocktails). However, for this post we will be focusing on one of favorites cocktails I like to do: Mulled Wine. This cocktail is known to be one the main holiday cocktails people like to make during the holiday season. However, there are different types of making Mulled Wines so I am sharing with you 5 Mulled Wines Recipes To Try Out This Holiday Season (all recipes are made with a good bottle of red wine of your choice):
The Classic Vin Chaud: This drink is a classic French spiced mulled wine. Better use a fruity bottle of red wine of your choice. This drink has been the most trendiest drink for the Christmas season.

2 Cinnamon sticks
5 whole cloves
1 slice of orange
1/2 cup of cognac
Slow Cooker Mulled Wine: Using a saw cooker for preparing mulled wine is a great idea. It takes a bit long, but this cozy and warm drink is best made on a slow cooker. Best served with appetizers before the holiday dinner.

2 bottles of dry red wine
1/2 cup of corn syrup
1/2 cup of honey
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup orange peel
1 cinnamon stick
1/4 teaspoon of ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
Spanish Vino Caliente:

750ml bottle of full-bodied red wine (see NOTE above)
4 strips of lemon rind
2 tbsp raw sugar
1 cinnamon stick
1 tsp nutmeg (freshly grated works best, but powdered is fine)
1 vanilla pod, sliced lengthways (or 1/2 tsp of vanilla bean paste)
80ml Brandy (Spanish from Jerez is awesome for caramelization!)
1 Clementine (or substitute with mandarin)
Traditional Glögg: Traditional recipe made with raisins and almonds.

1 bottle of red wine
1 1/2 cup of bourbon or vodka
1/2 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of orange zest
2 tablespoons raisins
1 tablespoons of cardamon pods
2 tablespoons of ginger
1 stick of cinnamon
8 cloves
2 tablespoons of almonds
Garnish: orange slices
German Glühwein: This is a Swedish spiced mulled wine and with the addition of Rum, this adds a little kick to the taste.

1/2 medium orange
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup turbinado or granulated sugar
20 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
2 whole star anise
1 (750-milliliter) bottle dry red wine
Rum or amaretto, for serving (optional)
Happy Holidays, enjoy your drinks and don't forget to drink responsibly too!
